Thinking about Starting Therapy
You may have been thinking about reaching out for some time, perhaps you have attempted several times to draft an email, or paused to consider whether to send a message, for a number of reasons. That hesitation is completely normal. Contemplating the possibility of therapy is already a meaningful step toward the change you are seeking. Every small action matters, and taking even one moment to explore your options is part of moving forward on your journey.
Starting therapy can feel like stepping into the unknown. Many people have uncertainties about what therapy will be like, and may ask themselves; what do I say? or what will be expected of me? This can then result in further procrastination in taking the next step, which is very understandable and will take some courage and a little trust in yourself that this is a step that matters, to you and for you.
I provide a supportive and understanding space to explore what matters to you, my focus is on being authentic and working in partnership with you, helping you discover the answers that already live within you.
Think of therapy like exploring a forest together. I can offer a map, point out different paths, and shine a light where it's dark. Some paths may feel rocky, some turns uncertain, and that's often where growth happens. Where you then gain tools, insight, and inner strength to navigate even the most challenging parts of the journey.
Therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all. Every individual has a unique story, and progress doesn't always follow a straight line.
